There is a beautification mode which can be used to improve skin tones. It’s relatively subtle, not over the top like we’ve seen with some phones.

The front camera also supports HDR which is a good touch. Photos taken with the front camera are quite good and can be shared without edits.

Being comfortable with Windows 10, I thought I’d try the Windows version because I found this T-Mobile phone at a pretty good deal – I’m already on T-Mobile, so the fact that it’s tied to T-Mobile wasn’t a problem for me – the Android version can be purchased unlocked.

The camera is nowhere near as good as the Android version less functions, lower quality images but I guess you get a higher MP rating not sure how that is better if the camera doesn’t work as well.

The video quality is virtually nil in all except bright sunlight horrible, in fact – this is not true for the android version of this phone. Windows Store?

Just TRY to find a browser that works. You get Microsoft Edge, which still doesn’t work with lots of websites. Windows being apparently anti-Google, makes it nearly impossible to access any Google-driven website, that includes having functioning access to YouTube- my primary app – doesn’t do other than basic viewing with the Edge browser and the other 3rd party apps out there aren’t much better.

Many of the installed Microsoft apps are seriously deficient – Windows record, maps navigating are two examples seriously deficient apps can anyone other than Garmin or Trimble really compete with Google Maps?

The biggest drawback is most apps on this phone drop or don’t run when you switch to another app more than android version, which has plenty of apps you can swap back and forth without the app crashing unlike the Windows version but isn’t that what Windows is known for?

This Windows version almost reminds me of the Windows 95 days — it isn’t quite ready for prime time on cell phones yet.

The phone: sound quality is very good, with or without headphones and is very loud compared to other phones. Believe it or not, I’m not a big phone user, but I’m sure the quality of the phone operation will be great for many.

Battery life is good, easily lasting all day if you aren’t streaming videos non-stop. Unit uses a high amp C-type connection not exactly universal, but becoming more common.

If you are deciding between the Windows or Android version of this phone, I’d clearly recommend the android version.

I have used both versions on T-Mobile and did not have one problem running the unlocked android version on that carrier – BYOP plan.

I didn’t realize until I bought the Windows version that this phone has a glass back on it, too. As I always kept it in a case that wasn’t really a problem.

This phone is very delicate and there aren’t good cases for this phone available so the glass edge isn’t going to be protected very well the first time you drop it.

Don’t buy this phone if you are hard on phones – it is WAY easy to break this phone. I have had several phones I’ve managed to keep in pristine condition over the years, and my Android version of this phone broke the glass the very first time I dropped it – even though it was in a case.

If you are looking for something sleek with loads of options at a cheap price, this phone may be what you are looking for Warning: This phone is sleek and delicate.

Not for those who are hard on their devices. It’s a good phone. Windows 10 runs real smooth on it.

I can use Facebook, twitter, and Instagram on it without a problem. The camera is a bit better than my LG Stylo 2 plus camera but a bit shakey.

The battery life is a bit sucky if used a lot and it gets hot sometimes if used for a short time. Other than that it holds quite a punch for a small phone.

Does what I need and gives me a breath of fresh air from android for awhile. Not receiving calls, texts, photos texts, or notifications.
