The storage still decreases until it runs out and warns you that it may now be corrupt. Still waiting for a solution from Asus.

I you want a Asus phone do your self a solid get the zenphone laser. Pros: Reliable; starts up everyday without problems. Asus is good about rolling updates, which have all run without problems – unlike some other manufacturers.

Cons: More granular technical details on the website: the online user guide is OK but sometimes more details would help and save interested end users time needed for internet searches for details.

The powerboost software is also very handy on making sure applications are completely closed and not running in the background. The Finger print sensor is very comfortably placed in the back and is extremely responsive.

The camera is by far the best I’ve had in a phone. Auto focus is quick and precise.

The rear megapixel camera does a wonderful job snapping pictures when there’s enough light, but low-light situations are a bit hit and miss. Mediocre call quality. Literally in 1 hour tops the phone is fully charged from dead. I know I’m not supposed to completely kill li-ion batteries but I had to try it out.

Cons: Please keep in mind these cons should be chalked up to this phone being bought before it was even released!

I pre-ordered this brand new model that has not been out on market at all. Bugs are bound to happen with any brand spanking new product. A few months after I received the phone it started glitching.

Fast charge stopped working.

When trying to listen to music through the audio jack I’d have to re-seat the jack a few times to make it play through both left and right vs. This being said, I contacted asus for the warranty, they took it in, fixed everything, and returned it in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

Took 2 weeks total but considering I only payed for ground shipping to them I got what I payed for.

Overall Review: Phone was barely used and not it will not even power on. Unfortunately, 4K resolution is the latest trend now that is compelling all of the manufacturers to include on all of their high-end model phones.

I wanted a good phone for mobile gaming but I did not want to pay extra for features that I would never use either. If I wanted to game on a bigger screen, I would carry my laptop.

This makes me sad because one of my work sites doesn’t have good reception. They should have put some bumps or grooves on the side of the phone to make it easier to grip when wet.

Dear George, I certainly understand your disappointment and inconvenience if the system failed to power on. Please try to disconnect the AC adapter and let the unit drain for 24 hours to reset and clear the memory.

After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter then power on the unit. If the problem persists, please press and hold the power button, repeat this process a couple of times, until you see an ASUS logo or a battery icon then let the battery charge fully before turning it on again.
